Ohayou Gozaimas Mauritans! By the time you read it, it's gonna be Independence Day- so Happy 53rd Independence Day to all: stay safe in confinement but let our hearts beat as one! Adilsons has quite a lot of developments to inform you on, so we'll delve right into it.
1. Drawing Contests!
That's right folks, we're deep in otaku territory with this one! A drawing competition is currently being cooked up by the Adilsons team and more updates will be sent out on Saturday on all our social media platforms, but here's some exclusive things which we can share with you right now:
•It will be open to all age groups; young or old, goth or emo, everyone is at a liberty to participate!
•It is exclusive to residents of Mauritius only; don't worry about competing with the rest of the world!
•The submissions can be drawings or paintings; we still have a few things to finalize, but this is all we'll say for now 😌
A dedicated webpage is currently in the works and will be established for everyone to submit their entires on. After the event is over, an online exhibition will be held on our social media platforms for you to see all the best entires! The winners, of course, get a prize too!
That's right, we said winners! 😋
2. Duel Links Tournament!
That's right folks, we're not allowing you a moment of boredom in confinement 2.0; a Duel Links Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, 13th March for you to exhibit the full extent of your dueling prowess. With the infamous hit of Invoked a few months ago in the DL scene, we're curious to see what strategies you cook up to gain the upper hand!
You can check out out IG for more updates and visit our Discord server for never-ending discussions, debates, updates and duels!
3. Covid-kun affects arrivals...
In case you've been living under a rock for the past 4 days, corona is back in Mauritius and there are, at the time of writing, 56 confirmed cases which have forced several districts into complete closure and brought the country to an absolute standstill as we try to contain the spread of the situation. Needless to say, this has not affected our highly awaited March arrival positively.
While we do our best to maintain the projected arrival on the 27-28 of March, this may prove to be both unwise and unfeasible in the days to come.
Adilsons therefore wishes to bring to your notice our tentative stance on the situation, which inclines increasingly towards postponing the arrivals until the situation in Mauritius begins to resolve.
We will keep sending out updates on our social media platforms, so rest assured that we'll work on this as a community.
That's it for this week folks. Here's to hoping that we can end on a lighter note next week! Stay safe and follow all confinement protocols minna!
