For Honor and Glory!! - Flame Noble Knights Debut

One of the upcoming archetypes from the “Rise of the Duelist” that has every duelist excited is the Flame Noble Knights. They are a sub-archetype of Noble Knights but unlike Noble Knights, Flame Noble Knights relies on FIRE Warrior Type monsters. Even though they differ on attribute preference, they still circulate around the heavy usage of equip spell cards. Aside from that, Flame Noble Knights have the ability to become Equip Spell cards themselves. Let see what are their capabilities:

Name: Flame Noble Knight Astolfo
Attribute: FIRE
Level: 1
Type: Warrior
Attack: 500
Defense: 200
Effect:
You can banish 1 FIRE Warrior monster from your hand or GY; Special Summon this card from your hand, then you can make it become the same Level as that banished monster. You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon this banished card during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation, then you can Special Summon 1 of your FIRE Warrior monsters that is banished or in your GY. You can only use each effect of "Flame Noble Knight Astolfo" once per Duel.

Back to Back Special Summon from Extra Deck
The main purpose of this card is to be able to special summon monsters from the Extra Deck quickly. It’s level adjustment effect is just perfect if you are either aiming for a Synchro summon or Xyz Summon. Plus, you get an assurance that you’ll be able to do another special summon from the Extra Deck on your next turn due to this card's second effect.

Name: Flame Noble Knight Ogier
Attribute: FIRE
Level: 4
Type: Warrior
Attack: 1500
Defense: 2000
Effect:
A monster equipped with this card cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can only use each of the following effects of "Flame Noble Knight Ogier" once per turn.
● If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 FIRE Warrior monster or 1 "Noble Arms" card from your Deck to the GY, except "Flame Noble Knight Ogier".
● If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 Warrior monster you control; equip this card to that target.

Send and Equip
The Armageddon Knight for Flame Noble Knights. This technically means this card or any Warrior type monster on your field gets to equip a Flame Noble Knight monster from the graveyard. Plus, the equip effect of this card is destruction immunity from effects which is great against decks with massive destruction effects.

Name: Flame Noble Knight Olivier
Attribute: FIRE
Level: 4
Type: Warrior
Attack: 1000
Defense: 1500
Effect:
Your opponent cannot target a monster equipped with this card with card effects. You can only use each of the following effects of "Flame Noble Knight Olivier" once per turn.
● You can send 1 FIRE Warrior monster or 1 Equip Spell from your hand or face-up field to the GY; Special Summon this card from your hand as a Level 1 monster.
● If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 Warrior monster you control; equip this card to that target.

The Tuner Flame Noble Knight #1
Most likely the most important monster in the archetype. This card gives you access for synchro summoning “Flame Noble Knight Vanguard Roland”, “Flame Noble Knight Emperor Charles” or even “Ignoble Knight of High Laundsallyn”. Effectively, this card has its own effect to special summon itself but adjust its level to one. Another plus effect of this card is that when it turns into a equip spell card, the equipped monster cannot be targeted by your opponent’s card effect, meaning making it immune against cards like Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer.

Name: Flame Noble Knight Maugis
Attribute: FIRE
Level: 4
Type: Warrior
Attack: 1500
Defense: 1000
Effect:
A monster equipped with this card cannot be destroyed by battle. You can only use each of the following effects of "Flame Noble Knight Maugis" once per turn.
● If this card is sent to the GY: You can shuffle 3 of your other FIRE Warrior monsters and/or "Noble Arms" cards that are banished and/or in your GY into the Deck; draw 1 card.
● If this card is in your GY: You can target 1 Warrior monster you control; equip this card to that target.

The Conditional One
Probably the least needed in the archetype line-up. Its trigger effect when sent to the graveyard is to return FIRE Warrior monsters or Noble Arms back to the deck then draw 1 card. I understand that there might be a need to recycle Noble Arms cards but why would anyone want to return Flame Noble Knight monster cards back to deck? Also, the equip effect isn’t that great. Immunity from battle destruction is good but if your monster has high attack power, let's say 3000, your opponent would probably take it out via card effect rather than battle.

Name: Flame Noble Knight Vanguard Roland
Attribute: FIRE
Level: 5
Type: Warrior/Synchro/Tuner
Attack: 2000
Defense: 500
Effect:
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can activate this effect; during the End Phase of this turn, send 1 Equip Spell from your Deck to the GY, then add 1 Warrior monster from your Deck to your hand. During the Main Phase, if this card is in your GY (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Warrior monster you control; equip this card to that target as an Equip Spell that makes it gain 500 ATK. You can only use each effect of "Flame Noble Knight Vanguard Roland" once per turn.

The Tuner Flame Noble Knight #2
Another Tuner monster for the archetype. It has an ability to fetch 2 cards from the deck, in which 1 is a Warrior type monster and the other is a Equip Spell card to be equipped to this card, but this will commence on the end phase this card is synchro summoned. It is worth noting that it equips any Equip Spell card and adds any Warrior Type Monster. Also, this is a Synchro Tuner monster, which can be special summoned by Crystron Halqifibrax. Maybe we’ll find this in other decks other than Flame Noble Knight.

Name: Flame Noble Knight Emperor Charles
Attribute: FIRE
Level: 9
Type: Warrior/Synchro/
Attack: 3000
Defense: 200
Effect:
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
If a monster(s) on the field becomes equipped with an Equip Card, even during the Damage Step: You can destroy 1 card on the field. During the End Phase: You can equip 1 Equip Spell from your hand or GY to this card, then you can equip 1 FIRE Warrior monster from your Deck to this card as an Equip Spell that makes it gain 500 ATK. You can only use each effect of "Flame Noble Knight Emperor Charles" once per turn.

The Boss Card
Let’s breakdown the effects of this card: First, it destroys a card on the field everytime it equips. Pretty powerful considering that this isn’t a “once per turn” basis and all Flame Noble Knight monster cards, except Flame Noble Knight Astolfo, have the ability to equip themselves to any Warrior monster on your field from the graveyard. Not including the Noble Arms Equip Spell cards. This could potentially sweep your opponent’s field clean; Second, it equips a Equip Spell card from hand or graveyard during End Phase, then equips a FIRE Warrior monster straight from the deck and grants it an additional muscle. It recycles and floats a card from the deck and you get to destroy 2 cards on the field if this effect got pushed through.

Name: Flame Noble Arms - Durendal
Card Type: Equip Spell

While this card is equipped to a monster: You can add 1 Level 5 or lower FIRE Warrior monster from your Deck to your hand, then destroy this card. If this card is sent to the GY because the equipped monster was sent to the GY: You can target 1 Level 5 or lower FIRE Warrior monster in your GY; Special Summon it, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Warrior monsters. You can only use 1 "Flame Noble Arms - Durendal" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Add and Revive Equip Card
The most important Equip Spell card for this archetype. It acts as a floater and a reviver for the deck. Since there are only a few Flame Noble Knight monsters, floaters play a major role to keep the synergy of the deck. Also, it revives a Level 5 or lower FIRE Warrior monster if sent to the graveyard along with the monster equipped with this card. It could be useful if planning to conduct 2 synchro summon on the same turn.

Name: Flame Noble Arms - Hauteclere
Card Type: Equip Spell

While this card is equipped to a monster: You can target 1 face-up monster you control; this turn, you cannot declare attacks with other monsters, also it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase, then destroy this card. If this card is sent to the GY because the equipped monster was sent to the GY: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; destroy it. You can only use 1 "Flame Noble Arms - Hauteclere" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

One Turn Kill Equip Card
This card may not be as important as the previous Equip Spell card but this card can potentially kill your opponent in one swing when equipped to Flame Noble Knight Emperor Charles. If you think about it thoroughly, Charles could sweep your opponent’s field through his effect. Plus, if you synchro summoned Flame Noble Knight Vanguard Roland before Charles, you could have floated this card to your hand by then. Also, when Roland is used as a synchro material, it can equiped itself to Charles giving it a boost of 500 attack. If you could increase Charles attack power further and equip this card to him, you could make 8000 or more damage in one swing.

Name: Flame Noble Arms - Joyeuse
Card Type: Equip Spell

While this card is equipped to a monster: You can target 1 FIRE Warrior monster in your GY; add it to your hand, then destroy this card. If this card is sent to the GY because the equipped monster was sent to the GY: You can Special Summon 1 FIRE Warrior monster from your hand. You can only use 1 "Flame Noble Arms - Joyeuse" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Recycling Warrior Equip Card
Probably a conditional card to add in the deck. Again, why would you need to add Flame Noble Knight monsters back to hand when they have equip effects that can only be used while they stay at the graveyard? The special summon effect isn’t much necessary either since it requires that this card be sent to the graveyard along with the equipped monster first. A bit late set up for just special summoning a monster from hand.
