The television anime of yuka's Tōtotsubni Egypt Kami (Suddenly, Egyptian Gods) revealed a promotional video, staff, additional cast member and December online debut on its official website on Saturday.

The anime will stream on several platforms such as U-NEXT, d Anime Store, Abema TV, FOD, Bandai Channel, GyaO! And YouTube in Japan from December.
The original work of the series is credited to yuka. Katsuya Kikuchi (Idol Memories) will be directing the anime at Typhoon Graphics. The series' script supervisor is Yuichiro Higashide (Fate/Apocrypha) whereas Rena Okuyama (The Royal Tutor, Idol Memories) is in charge of the character design as well as the post of chief animation director. Frontier Works will be producing the anime. Keiji Inai (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) will compose the music.

ABOUT MEDJED :
In 2012, the Egyptian God Medjed became quite popular in Japan after the British Museum held an exhibit on ancient Egypt at the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo. The simplistic design of the character produced numerous fan art, merchandise, comics, games and other works that featured this character. Goodia, Inc. had released the Egykoi! ~Egypt Kami to Koishi yo~ (Egy-love! Egyptian Gods and Love) gag otome game which included Medjed and other Egyptian Gods in a school setting. This led to the creation of an Idol edition which was a follow-up of the Gods in a male idol industry setting. Medjed was also the protagonist of the Kamigami no Ki anime in 2016.
PLOT DETAILS :
The story is set in a world where the Ancient Egyptian Gods such as Anubis and Toth live free and languorous lives. The anime, To-Totsuni Egypt Kami traces the everyday adventures of these band of Egyptian Gods that include Bastet, who loves to sing and dance; Medjed, who harbours an expressionless face; Horus, who has a part-time job; Set, who loves causing mischief; and Ra, who has a tendency to set out on journeys but then, come back midway through the journey.
